The Royal Academy of Arts: Artist in Conversation with Cornelia Parker CBE RA and Veronica Ryan OBE RA
On Wednesday 10th July, The Natalia Cola Foundation proudly supported a lecture at The Royal Academy of Arts with two of Britain’s most notable contemporary artists, Cornelia Parker CBE RA and Veronica Ryan OBE RA.
They discussed the generative yet precarious nature of working with found objects, of objects holding stories and histories, and the tactile intimacy of working with material. They also explored the value of artists having a curatorial practice to their work.
Both artists champion the importance of art in schools and the positive impact of the creative industries in the UK.
